The Public Record Office of Ireland(Northern), is the main source of manuscript information for genealogical research. Visitors are welcome to do their own research here. Information sheets available on various aspects of research include how to trace your family tree, church records, valuation records, 19th century census records, will and testimentary records, street directories, voters, poll and freeholders records, emigration records, 17th and 18th century census substitutes, encumbered estates, registry of deeds, grand jury records, photographic collections and ordnance survey maps.
